Kano Shimai will be on Himitsu-chan this week, according to the schedule.

Noooooooooooooooo.  Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

I can't stand them.  Or rather, one of them - the older one I think?  But either way. ;A;  argh.

 Ah, is it really the 24th already?  feels like July just started.  But Anyway.

Not a ton of screencaps, sorry!  Just a few things.

The baby in Childminder would NOT shut up!!  >.< I think its Mama was a former idol or something.

Nonetheless Aiba and Nino were Maximum Cute.

~something about Aiba + Baby (even Annoying Baby) makes me squee.  It's not unsimilar to the impulse which makes me squee about Aiba + Little Animals, except that little animals are cute and babies are not.  Aiba is always cute though. <3

~seriously, baby would not shut up.  Nino seemed a bit exasperated with the whole thing.  Poor guys.

~they took baby for a walk... met another Mama and another baby...whom Aiba succeeded to make cry. XD

~they also took the baby to a hair salon where they cut the baby's hair for the first time, and made the hair clippings into a calligraphy brush.  Go figure?

~then they took the baby to a posh baby shop and bought it stupid stylish-babies' baby clothes that, in total, cost more than my rent. -_-;;  not like I'm bitter.  At one point Aiba picked up a little stuffed doll that cost around US $70 (yes, you read that right) and said, "My mom could make this!"  Thank you for your common sense, Aiba.  orz

I do actually like all of their hair in this episode.<3  And the cowboy hats. *dies* ahahahah.  I love it.

They played some kind of a Roulette game against a team of guests (Japanese Beyonce, the two Non-Ooshima's from Morisanchuu, and this other dude I think, whom I didn't recognize).  The goal was to guess the order of foods presented in terms of how many calories they had... if you guessed the one with the highest calories your team lost.  The losing team had to eat the super-high calorie food... which seems like a punishment if you think about the calories in it, with the narrator's evil chuckling voice in the background... but apparently the foods were good. *falls over* some punishment.  They played two rounds; I'm not telling you exactly who wins & loses. ;D although at one point the narrator revealed how many calories were in something and I swear a certain M. J. looked like he nearly spit it out of his mouth. XD  Momo, you anorexic little puppy.

I got a few other screencaps too but they kind of suck.  Oh well.  No one will ever get sick of seeing pictures of these boys in cowboy hats, so here you go! :3

It was a cute episode though.  You want to make sure you catch it on the DL.

They didn't spend much time in-studio.  The girls from Othello accompanied them to the roulette game and hosted that.  Everyone looks - dare I say it - quite fly today.  I like Jun-jun's shirt.

They all looked good so it's really difficult to say, but I think perhaps ShoShan pulls of the cowboy look best... *dies*

Also of note: in the roulette segment there was a moment I immensely regret not capping - it was a bit of a squee-worthy shot of the ever-sexy Riida.  It wasn't revolutionary, per se, but I know Ohno-fans will certainly appreciate the camera-service... as would anyone else whose vision happens to be graced by such a generous shot of our Leader.  So keep your eyes peeled for that! :3

Next week looks like they're doing something with Jaguar Yokota again...  A mattress was somehow involved involved I believe. NO!  Not like that!!  And if that were the case, certainly it would just be with the five of them, not Jaguar Yokota! D:  *dies*

Himitsu this week... well, the first half hour of all these annoying giggly ladies and their skin really irked me.  I pray that's the last we see of that corner, much as I love the nurse costumes.

However, they played a prank on Oh-chan by setting of a fake filming of the most ridiculous noodle cm you'll ever see. The other guy in it was on VS Arashi at some point... he's the guy who says Yayakoshii... which they said a thousand times during the fake filming... It was some bizarre commercial that was a pun on "Maou"  - Nisshin Maou noodles (they don't really exist but they were supposed to be really spicy, since Maou = devil)  Ohno was really cute though... and you really got the sense he's very patient and good-natured on set.

Then they gave Ohno the chance to plug Maou, yay.

AND they played Truth in the background!!  I'm so excited.  I think it's going to have a bit more of a slick dance/techno vibe than we've heard in the past.  the production sounds full and smooth.  I'm trying to think if it reminds me of anything of theirs in the past and nothing is coming to mind... if you can think of something I'd love to hear it!!  If anything I would say the production style might be similar to Step & Go but the emotion of the song is completely different and you wouldn't instantly say they're similar. Plus it's still really hard to hear.  I'm so excited, I can't wait~~~ there's a line of the lyric you can hear that sounds something like "kanashimi ni tatoe donna owari wo egaite" and i think it goes on to start with "kokoro" and I lose it after that... anyway I think that Kanashimi line is the primary hook of the chorus... and it's really good.  It goes places you wouldn't expect, sort of turns around.  The owari wo egaite bit is cool. I haven't heard Green yet, nor have I heard anything that makes me really excited about it, and though I really enjoy One Love and think it's quite well-done, it was sort of pleasantly underwhelming for my tastes.  Truth, however, will be a song I think I can get really fired up for.

Guys if you haven't all seen Himitsu-chan or heard a sample of Truth yet you should really look it up!!  Himitsu-chan is now available at d-addicts' tv shows and... I don't know where else. x_x
